About
The verifiable card-price authority.
Most price guides show you a number and hide the inputs. Renaiss OS Index shows the number — and every trade behind it, named and linked. This page explains who we are, where the data comes from, and why you can check our work.
What Renaiss OS Index is
Renaiss OS Index is a public reference-price site for collectible trading cards. For every card and grade we track, we publish a reference price — computed as the mean, median and volume-weighted average of recent sales — alongside the complete trade history those numbers are derived from. We also publish daily market indices: normalized baskets of the top-traded cards, rebalanced every day.
Where the data comes from
Every reference price is built from real, recorded sales across three named source types: public marketplaces, partner shops that share their sales with us, and Renaiss-owned transactions. We do not invent or model prices in a vacuum — each data point is an actual trade, and on every card page each trade links back to its original source so you can verify it yourself.
Why you can trust the numbers
Transparency is the whole point. The reference price, the method behind it, the underlying trades, and their sources are all shown together — nothing hidden. Our methodology documents exactly how each price and index value is calculated. If a trade looks wrong, every page carries a one-click way to flag it, and corrections are applied at the source.
